Media-Architecture. Models of novel coactions?

Max Rheiner und Àkos Maróy (doubleNegatives Architecture), Alexander Stublic (Mader|Stublic|Wiermann), Christian Schneegass (Akademie der Künste - Moderation)

For the finissage of the Corpora in Si(gh)te project we invite you to an artist talk about media-architectures. Two different artistic positions will be introduced and descriped with selected projects by the speakers, opening a discursive space for questions about interactive and built media-architecture. Christian Schneegass is talking with artists about their different approaches, concepts, and possible transferability or consequences for a prospective development in art and society.

21:00 - Sound Performance:
Daisuke Ishida: Synthetic Linkage-Performance Preview

Berlin based experimental and digital sound artist Daisuke Ishida presents a live preview of his upcoming work Synthetic Linkage. Co-founder in Japan of the SINE WAVE ORCHESTRA in 2002 Ishida's work seeks to realize synthetic sound space, explore and emphasize the dualities of 'minimum - maximum', 'rhythmic - arhythmic', 'harmony - cacophony', 'signal - noise' and 'silence - audible moment'. In his acoustic compressions of time, space and audible experience Ishida pursues a structural aesthetic and consequence of computer-based sound pushing the boundaries of contemporary media and technologies.
