Between January 30 and February 5, 2012, transmediale and CTM offer one of the world's most pertinent and comprehensive reviews of artistic practice dealing with new technologically informed cultural conditions.
Within its 25th anniversary edition in 2012 and its theme in/compatible, transmediale – festival for art and digital culture berlin, investigates the productive and destructive sides of incompatibility as a fundamental condition for cultural production in times of crisis. With the 2012 theme SPECTRAL, CTM – Festival for Adventurous Music and Related Arts, explores the current resurgence of the unearthly and dark in music and art.

The transmediale + CTM Kombi Pass grants access for one person to all transmediale 2012 (incl. Joshua Light Show) and CTM.12 events, except the special events at HAU 1 (Opening Concert on January 30 and February 2) and the concerts at Passionskirche (February 4 and 5). For these events you need to buy individual tickets. When you purchase the transmediale + CTM Kombi Pass, you will receive a free copy of the CTM.12 Catalogue and a discount of 50% on the transmediale 2012 Catalogue.

The transmediale & CTM Kombi Pass Gold grants access for one person to all transmediale 2012 and all CTM.12 events.
When you purchase the transmediale + CTM Kombi Pass, you will receive a free copy of the CTM.12 Catalogue and a discount of 50% on the transmediale 2012 Catalogue.
This ticket grants access for the above event at the Haus der Kulturen der Welt. It does not grant access to the other venues of the transmediale and CTM festivals. Access to festival locations can only be granted with a valid ticket. Lost tickets will not be refunded. Some festival locations have a limited capacity, access can not be guaranteed if you arrive after the official starting time of the event. It is advised to arrive no later than 30 minutes before the event starts.
Price includes 7% VAT.
The pre-sale printout itself does not give admission to the festivals. You need to exchange it for your Pass[2] at one of the transmediale or CTM ticket counters.
Reduced prices are available for students, those officially serving military/civic duty, people receiving social welfare, and severely disabled persons (at least 50 v. H. MdE). You must present your certification or student ID directly at the festival venue in order to pick up your reduced price pass(es)[2].
The Pass[2] can be picked-up by the authorized ticket-holder only and can not be passed on to others. Please bring ID with you at time of pick-up (ID card, passport, driver’s license). Access to festival venues can only be granted with the Pass[2] or any other valid ticket. Lost Passes[2] will not be refunded. As some festival locations have a limited capacity, access can not be guaranteed. We suggest you arrive on time or reserve your seat in advance to avoid disappointment.
Holders of the Pass[2] agree to potentially having their photos taken during their festival visit and that these photos may be exhibited, multiplied, dispersed, published and made publically available for artistic purposes.
Access to CTM night events can not be granted for persons under 18 years.
[1] For transmediale + CTM Combi Pass GOLD: Some festival locations have a limited capacity. We suggest you arrive on time or reserve your seat in advance to avoid disappointment. For the concerts at HAU 1 (Opening Concert on January 30th and January 31, February 2nd) and the Passionskirche (February 4th and 5th) seat reservations need to be picked up at the box offices of the venues no later than 30 min. before the concerts start, otherwise access can not be guaranteed. For the concerts at the Passionskirche, Gold Pass holders can make an online pre-reservation. For the concerst at the HAU, seat reservations can be picked up at the box office of HAU 2 (daily 12 – 19h). For the events at the House of World Cultures, seat reservations can be picked up at the box office of the venue (daily 10 – 19h).
