Free Software for Cultural Enterprises

Workshopleader: Gerold Kirchner

Especially for cultural enterprises free software creates ideal preconditions for creative productions, collaborations and internal organisations. Free software is not necessarily for free, but it may be used, examined, changed and further developed with regard to all purposes, including commercial usage. This workshop gives an insight into different types of free software such as open source freeware and shareware. The focus is on various free software solutions for eCommerce, creative work, emailing, calendars, network servers and customer relationship management.
