Creative Business Models

Workshop Leader: Susa Pop

Aim of this workshop is to further develop creative projects into independent cultural formats which can operate in a myriad of different contexts and conditions. Crucial in this sense: how to use resources smartly by recycling existing contents and products creatively and building up a network of strong partners instead of starting up from scratch. On the basis of several Best Practice Projects Susa Pop will illustrate how an idea can grow into a sustainable cultural business model and will focus on how to develop formats, find funding and sponsoring as well as succeed in the related necessary lobbying (searching for partners; cooperating with institutions and politicians).

They attempt to establish an arts and culture incubator for Berlin that will support and develop new forms of cultural practice beyond the festival's lifespan.
