Emmanuel Madan is a classically trained musician, composer and sound artist with a degree in based electroacoustic composition from the University of Montréal.
He has been working prolifically in sound design and sound art producing several electroacoustic audio tapes and worked on the sound design of numerous experimental video and radio projects as well as curated exhibitions.

Since 1998 Madan has been collaborating with Thomas McIntosh as [The User] making work that has been exhibited worldwide. With Coincidence Engines they have been nominated for the transmediale Award 2010. He is based in Montréal.
